  • 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg

  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/4 cup molasses
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup chopped walnuts

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix together flour, baking soda, spices, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, cream the butter and powdered sugar until light and fluffy.
  4. Add molasses and vanilla extract to the butter mixture and blend well.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until combined.
  6. Fold in the chopped walnuts.
  7. Form the dough into small balls and place them on a baking sheet.
  8. Bake for 10-12 minutes until lightly browned.
  9. Let cool and dust with powdered sugar before serving.
