- 4 large bell peppers
- 1 pound ground turkey
- 1 cup turkey bacon, chopped
- 1 cup chicken ham, diced
- 1 cup cooked rice
- 1/2 cup onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1 cup shredded cheese
- 1/2 cup tomato sauce
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Cut the tops off the bell peppers and remove the seeds.
- In a skillet, cook the ground turkey, turkey bacon, onion, and garlic until the meat is browned.
- Add the chicken ham, cooked rice, Italian seasoning, and half of the tomato sauce. Mix well.
- Stuff each bell pepper with the meat mixture and place them in a baking dish.
- Top with the remaining tomato sauce and shredded cheese.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes until the peppers are tender.
Notes
- Feel free to add extra vegetables to the stuffing mixture.
- For a spicier kick, add chopped jalapeños.
