  • 1 cup fresh spinach, chopped
  • 1 cup artichoke hearts, chopped
  • 1 cup cream cheese
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1 packet active dry yeast
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup warm water
  • 1/4 cup baking soda

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine warm water and sugar, then sprinkle yeast on top and let it sit for 5 minutes.
  2. Add flour and salt to the yeast mixture and knead to form a dough.
  3. Let the dough rise for about an hour in a warm place.
  4. Prepare filling by mixing spinach, artichokes, cream cheese, and mozzarella in a bowl.
  5. Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C).
  6. Divide dough into small pieces, roll out, and fill with the mixture.
  7. Shape the filled dough into pretzels and place on a baking sheet.
  8. Mix baking soda with water and brush the pretzels with this mixture.
  9. Bake for 12-15 minutes until golden brown.
