Shrimp Alfredo

A rich and creamy Shrimp Alfredo featuring a twist of turkey bacon for added flavor.

  • 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 4 ounces turkey bacon, diced
  • 12 ounces fettuccine pasta
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook the fettuccine according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, cook the turkey bacon over medium heat until crispy; remove and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, melt the butter and sauté the garlic until fragrant.
  4. Add the shrimp and cook until pink, about 3-4 minutes.
  5. Stir in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer.
  6. Add the Parmesan cheese and stir until melted and smooth.
  7. Combine the cooked fettuccine and turkey bacon with the sauce; toss to coat.
  8. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Notes

  • For a lighter version, substitute half-and-half for heavy cream.
