1 pound ground turkey
4 slices turkey bacon, chopped
1/2 cup breadcrumbs
1/4 cup onion, finely chopped
1 egg
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
2 cups beef broth
1 cup mushrooms, sliced
1 tablespoon cornstarch
2 tablespoons water
Instructions
In a large bowl, combine ground turkey, turkey bacon, breadcrumbs, onion, egg, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
Form the mixture into meatballs and place them in the slow cooker.
Pour the beef broth over the meatballs and add the mushrooms.
Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours.
Once cooked, mix cornstarch and water in a small bowl until smooth. Stir into the slow cooker and let it cook for an additional 15 minutes to thicken.
Notes
Serve over mashed potatoes or noodles for a complete meal.
For a gluten-free option, use gluten-free breadcrumbs.
