Ingredients

  • 1 can chickpeas, drained and rinsed
  • 1 cup pumpkin puree
  • 2 tablespoons tahini
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • Salt to taste

Instructions

  1. In a food processor, combine the chickpeas, pumpkin puree, tahini, olive oil, garlic, cumin, cinnamon, and lemon juice.
  2. Blend until smooth, scraping down the sides as needed.
  3. Add salt to taste and blend again.
  4. Serve with pita bread or fresh vegetables.
