  • 1 cup brewed espresso
  • 1/2 cup coffee liqueur
  • 24 ladyfinger cookies
  • 8 ounces mascarpone cheese
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 2 tablespoons cocoa powder

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, combine brewed espresso and coffee liqueur.
  2. Quickly dip each ladyfinger into the coffee mixture, making sure not to soak them.
  3. In another bowl, whip heavy cream, sugar, and vanilla extract until soft peaks form.
  4. Gently fold in the mascarpone cheese until smooth.
  5. Layer the bottom of cups with dipped ladyfingers, then add a layer of the mascarpone mixture.
  6. Repeat the layers until cups are filled.
  7. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours.
  8. Before serving, dust with cocoa powder.

Notes

  • For a stronger coffee flavor, use a dark roast espresso.
  • These cups can be made a day in advance for better flavor integration.
