  • 2 cups ricotta cheese

  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Slice the zucchini into thin rounds and sprinkle with salt. Let them sit for about 15 minutes, then pat dry.
  3. In a bowl, combine ricotta, egg, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  4. In a baking dish, spread a layer of marinara sauce, followed by a layer of zucchini slices, followed by a layer of the ricotta mixture. Repeat the layers, finishing with marinara on top.
  5. Sprinkle mozzarella and Parmesan cheese on top.
  6. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until the cheese is bubbly and golden brown.
  7. Let cool for a few minutes before serving.
