  • 1 pound flank steak
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons sesame oil
  • 2 tablespoons rice vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon minced garlic
  • 1 tablespoon grated ginger
  • 4 cups cooked rice
  • 1 cup sliced cucumbers
  • 1 cup shredded carrots
  • 1/4 cup chopped green onions
  • 2 tablespoons sesame seeds

Instructions

  1. Marinate the flank steak in soy sauce, sesame oil, rice vinegar, brown sugar, garlic, and ginger for at least 30 minutes.
  2. Cook the marinated steak on a grill or stovetop until desired doneness.
  3. Slice the steak thinly against the grain.
  4. In bowls, layer rice, steak, cucumbers, carrots, green onions, and sesame seeds.
