Honey Garlic Meatballs

Delicious honey garlic meatballs made with turkey bacon for a flavorful twist.

  • 1 pound ground turkey
  • 1/2 cup turkey bacon, finely chopped
  • 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon sesame seeds

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix ground turkey, turkey bacon, breadcrumbs, egg, and garlic.
  3. Form into meatballs and place on a baking sheet.
  4. In a saucepan, combine honey, soy sauce, vinegar, and black pepper over medium heat.
  5. Bring to a simmer and cook for 5 minutes.
  6. Pour sauce over meatballs and bake for 20-25 minutes.
  7. Garnish with sesame seeds before serving.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, let the meatball mixture chill for 30 minutes in the refrigerator before baking.
  • Serve over rice or noodles for a complete meal.
