  • 1 cup rice
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup BBQ sauce
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix honey and BBQ sauce together.
  3. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat, add chicken, seasoning with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
  4. Brown the chicken on both sides, then pour the honey BBQ mixture over the chicken.
  5. In a baking dish, combine rice and chicken broth, lay the chicken on top, and cover with foil.
  6. Bake for 25-30 minutes until chicken is cooked through.
  7. Remove from oven, let rest for a few minutes, then serve with rice.
