- 1 tablespoon active dry yeast
- 1 ½ cups warm water
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 1 tablespoon onion flakes
- 1 tablespoon poppy seeds
- 1 tablespoon sesame seeds
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder

- Mix until a dough forms, then knead on a floured surface for about 10 minutes until smooth.
- Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover it, and let it rise for 1 hour until doubled in size.
- Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C). Once risen, punch the dough down and divide it into 8 pieces.

- Boil water in a large pot and add the bagels, boiling each for 1 minute. Remove and add toppings before baking.
- Bake the bagels for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
Notes
- For added flavor, experiment with different toppings.
- Ensure your water is warm, not hot, to activate the yeast properly.
