Ingredients

  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup diced carrots
  • 1 cup diced celery
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon thyme
  • 1 teaspoon rosemary
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup cooked chicken, shredded

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, heat the chicken broth over medium heat.
  2. Add carrots, celery, onion, and garlic. Cook until vegetables are tender.
  3. Stir in thyme, rosemary, bay leaf, salt, and pepper.
  4. Add the shredded chicken and cook until heated through.
  5. Remove bay leaf before serving.

Notes

  • For a vegetarian option, substitute chicken broth with vegetable broth and omit chicken.
  • Feel free to add your favorite vegetables.
