Five Ingredient Raspberry Shortbread Bars

A delightful treat made with just five simple ingredients that’s perfect for any occasion.

  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup raspberry jam
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Mix in the flour and vanilla extract until just combined.
  4. Press half of the mixture into the bottom of a greased baking dish.
  5. Spread the raspberry jam over the pressed layer.
  6. Sprinkle the remaining mixture on top of the jam.
  7. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown.
  8. Allow to cool before cutting into bars.

Notes
