  • 4 large bell peppers
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 cup cooked rice
  • 1 can (15 ounces) diced tomatoes
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Slice the tops off the bell peppers and remove the seeds.
  3. In a large skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat.
  4. Add in the cooked rice, diced tomatoes, and seasonings; mix well.
  5. Stuff each bell pepper with the beef and rice mixture.
  6. Place the stuffed peppers in a baking dish and cover with foil.
  7. Bake for 30 minutes, then uncover, add cheese if desired, and bake for an additional 10 minutes.
