Easy Crockpot Chicken and Dumplings Recipe

  • 2 pounds boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup celery, chopped
  • 1 cup carrots, sliced

  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 can refrigerated biscuit dough

Instructions

  1. Place chicken breasts in the crockpot.
  2. Add chicken broth, celery, carrots, onion, garlic powder, thyme, and black pepper.
  3. Cook on low for 6-7 hours or until chicken is cooked through.
  4. Remove chicken and shred it, then return it to the crockpot.
  5. Cut the biscuit dough into quarters and add to the crockpot.
  6. Cook on high for an additional 1 hour or until the biscuits are cooked through.
