  • 2 bay leaves

  • 1 chipotle pepper in adobo sauce
  • 1 tablespoon adobo sauce

Instructions

  1. Season the beef chuck roast with salt and pepper.
  2. In a large skillet, brown the beef on all sides.
  3. Transfer the beef to the Crock Pot.
  4. Add the beef broth, cumin, oregano, chili powder, bay leaves, onion, garlic, chipotle pepper, and adobo sauce.
