Ingredients

  • 12 jumbo pasta shells
  • 15 ounces ricotta cheese
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F.
  2. Cook pasta shells according to package instructions until al dente.
  3. In a bowl, combine ricotta, 1 cup mozzarella, Parmesan, egg, basil, garlic powder, and salt.
  4. Stuff each shell with the cheese mixture.
  5. Spread some marinara sauce in the bottom of a baking dish.
  6. Place stuffed shells in the dish and top with remaining marinara and mozzarella.
  7. Bake for 25 minutes until heated through and cheese is bubbly.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, add cooked ground beef or spinach to the cheese mixture.
  • Serve with garlic bread and a side salad for a complete meal.
