  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup chopped walnuts
  • 1/2 cup raisins

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the sourdough starter, oil, sugars, and eggs. Mix until well combined.
  3. Add the grated carrots and vanilla extract to the mixture and stir.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients until just combined.
  6. Fold in the walnuts and raisins.
  7. Pour the batter into a greased loaf pan and smooth the top.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 60-70 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
