Cajun Potato Soup

Ingredients

  • 4 large potatoes, diced
  • 1 cup turkey bacon, chopped
  • 1 cup chicken ham, diced
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 teaspoons Cajun seasoning
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, cook the turkey bacon over medium heat until crispy. Remove and set aside.
  2. In the same pot, add onion and garlic, sauté until soft.
  3. Add the diced potatoes and cook for a few minutes.
  4. Pour in the chicken broth, cover, and simmer until the potatoes are tender.
  5. Stir in the chicken ham, heavy cream, and Cajun seasoning. Let it simmer for another 5-7 minutes.
  6. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
  7. Top with crispy turkey bacon before serving.

Notes

  • For a spicier version, add extra Cajun seasoning or hot sauce.
  • Serve with crusty bread for a complete meal.
