  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, mix the melted butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until smooth.
  3. Add the eggs and vanilla extract, stirring until well blended.
  4. In another bowl, combine flour, cocoa powder, and salt. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture.
  5. Fold in the chocolate chips.
  6. Drop spoonfuls of the dough onto the prepared baking sheet.
  7. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are firm but the centers are soft.
  8. Let cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes

  • For a richer flavor, add nuts or additional chocolate chunks.
  • Store in an airtight container for up to a week.
